GREENSBORO, N.C. — Larry Burton's family is moving into the holiday season with a sense of heaviness they never expected.
Still, Amare Swift, said his family will never give up on finding him.
Over four months is a long time to go missing, "honestly, everything's still a slight blur," Swift said.
It's something Swift, the grandson of 74-year-old Larry Burton , never thought he would have to deal with.
"It's a sad situation what's going on and nobody can honestly prepare to go through it," Swift said.
On July 2, police said Burton went missing from an unlicensed assisted living facility off Moody Street in Greensboro. Burton suffers from dementia.
His family said he had only been there for eight days after being released from Moses Cone Hospital.
Although he hasn't been seen since,
