ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - A St. Louis mother says she discovered her 6-month-old daughter being abused by the child’s father after checking nanny cam footage from work.

Allahja Jackson said she had been feeling something was wrong for about a week before checking her home cameras on Friday while at work.

“I was at work, I had just got a patient report, and I just had been having this feeling for about a week that something was just not right, so I have Blink cameras in my house and I decided to check the cameras,” Jackson said.

Jackson said she heard her daughter crying but could not see them on camera initially. What she saw next prompted her to start screen recording.

“I saw him throw her onto the couch. I immediately started screen recording, got up and went,” Jackson said.
