Godrej Properties has acquired a 30-acre land parcel in South Bengaluru for the development of a large township project with an estimated revenue potential of around Rs 3,500 crore. This comes shortly after the company purchased 26 acres in Sarjapur in October for a housing project expected to generate Rs 1,100 crore in revenue.

In a regulatory filing on Thursday, the developer said it has now added another 3.8 acres to its Bengaluru land bank, unlocking an additional Rs 2,400 crore in revenue potential and 2 million sq ft of development area. With the latest acquisition, the company plans to build a premium, large-scale residential community.
