Four pubs in our region are feeling flush after being awarded high standards in the annual Loo of the Year Awards. The Dictum of Kenilworth , newly opened earlier this year, has been awarded a diamond grading by inspectors – the highest award possible.

Meanwhile three pubs in Coventry , The Flying Standard in Trinity Street, The Earl of Mercia in High Street and Earlsdon's City Arms have each been awarded a platinum grading.

The awards sees toilets judged against numerous criteria, including décor and maintenance, cleanliness, accessibility, hand washing and drying equipment and overall management.
