A rizona continues to position itself as a leader in educational innovation, becoming the nation’s top adopter of Khanmigo, the artificial intelligence tutoring platform created by Khan Academy.
Last year, the Arizona Department of Education invested $1.5 million to provide students statewide with access to Khanmigo. Today, more than 170,000 Arizona students are using the tool – giving the state the highest per-capita usage in the country.
“I think we are (setting an example) because we have more usage on a per capita basis than any other state in the country,” said Arizona Superintendent of Public Instruction Tom Horne.
