New Delhi: The Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) has imposed a fine of Rs 20,000 on Maulana Azad Medical College (MAMC) for violating the Solid Waste Management Rules, 2016, and the bylaws framed in 2018. The action was part of a broader enforcement effort to address environmental violations across the city. In the West Zone, the MCD, along with the Delhi Pollution Control Committee (DPCC), BSES, and the sub-divisional magistrate, launched a systematic investigation into unauthorised industrial units in Bindapur, Ward 116, reports The New Indian Express .
