Investigators probing last week's car blast near Delhi's Red Fort have identified a significant link to a former Al-Falah University student, Mirza Shadab Baig, previously connected to major terror attacks in India. The Red Fort blast, which claimed 14 lives on November 10, has renewed focus on Al-Falah University as authorities track connections to the Faridabad terror module.

Baig, a native of Azamgarh in Uttar Pradesh, is an Indian Mujahideen terrorist involved in the 2008 serial blasts in both Delhi and Ahmedabad. He completed his B.Tech at Al-Falah University in 2007, and his university identity card has been accessed by investigators. Following the 2008 Delhi blasts, Baig fled India and is now subject to an Interpol Red Notice.
