The Congress government in Karnataka headed by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah will complete the first half of its term on Thursday amid suspense over the State Cabinet reshuffle and change of leadership.

As both Mr. Siddaramaiah and Deputy Chief Minister and KPCC chief D.K. Shivakumar were not able to arrive at a consensus on the Cabinet reshuffle and the leadership change, the party high command, which has been in shock after the Bihar poll debacle, is said to have deferred its decisions related to Karnataka.
