Police investigating the Rs 7 crore cash van robbery in Bengaluru , in which a group of men posing as Central Government tax officers stopped a CMS vehicle and escaped with cash in broad daylight, have uncovered new leads that are helping them narrow down the suspects.
New details have emerged in the probe after police identified one of the accused by matching CCTV footage from Jayanagar and Dairy Circle with photographs of a previously arrested offender. Investigators now suspect that the same gang may be involved in the case.

According to police sources, the accused conducted a recce near the Dairy Circle flyover two days before the heist. CCTV footage shows the suspects drinking at a bar in the area before the incident.
