A student was savagely killed by a wolf pack during a stroll in a horrifying attack - after dismissing a colleague's warning.

Kenton Carnegie, 22, was employed on a geological survey programme in Points North Landing, Canada, as part of his university placement when the devastating incident occurred.

On November 8, 2005, he ventured out for a lakeside walk to "go look at the rocks in the bay". Bush pilot Todd Svarckopf allegedly cautioned him against leaving the camp and suggested playing hockey in the airport's hangar instead – but Kenton remained determined to go.
