Hammarby IF captain Nahir Besara has admitted he will miss Kim Hellberg "a lot" in an emotional goodbye as he closes in on becoming the next Middlesbrough head coach.
Hellberg, 37, is expected to replace Rob Edwards , who left Boro to return to Wolves last Tuesday, as the new boss at the Riverside Stadium .
The Swede's appointment is subject to him receiving a work permit, with Adi Viveash set to remain in interim charge for Saturday's Championship trip to Oxford United.
During his time at Hammarby, Hellberg has guided the club to back-to-back second-place finishes in Allsvenskan, winning 41 of his 73 matches in charge.
He was interviewed for the vacant position at Swansea City last week, before a meeting with Boro, following Edwards's departure to join Wolves.
