RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat arrived in Manipur on Thursday, November 20, marking his first visit to the state since ethnic violence broke out two years ago. His three-day trip is part of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh’s (RSS) centenary celebrations, and will include a series of closed-door meetings.

According to RSS officials, Bhagwat’s engagements during the visit will remain largely internal and connected to the organisation’s centenary programmes.

On Thursday, Bhagwat is scheduled to meet entrepreneurs and prominent citizens at Konjeng Leikai in Imphal. The following day, November 21, he will hold discussions with tribal leaders from the hill districts, focusing on community issues and concerns.
