BELL COUNTY, Ky. (WYMT) - One Eastern Kentucky man is charged in connection with the death of an unborn child.
Christopher Shipman was charged with fetal homicide.

According to deputies with the Bell County Sheriff’s Office, the incident happened sometime in Oct. 2019.
Police said Shipman intentionally caused the death of an unborn child of a woman who was 14 weeks pregnant at the time.
Deputies said Shipman was accused of punching and kicking the woman in the stomach until she had labor pains which aborted the child in the floor.
It happened in front of the victim’s 5-year-old child, police said.
Police say Shipman is also accused of disposing of the remains of child in the toilet.
He was taken to the Bell Count
