Three people have been charged in connection with the 'Glasgow ashes scandal' , which involved the alleged mishandling of cremated remains and funeral plan fraud at a Springburn funeral director.
On Wednesday (November 19) a 58-year-old man and 38-year-old woman were rearrested after having travelled to the Flint area of Wales. Officers also arrested a 58-year-old woman in the Bishopbriggs area of Glasgow , and all three people have been charged.
It comes as part of Police Scotland's Operation Koine, which has been investigating A. Milne Independent Funeral Directors on Balornock Road in Springburn for over 17 months.
The Springburn funeral home was previously subject to an 11-day search by police following reports of alleged missing ashes and funds used for pre-paid funeral plans
