STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. -- If you’re planning to visit family in New York or New Jersey this Thanksgiving, you may want to avoid one airport in particular.

A recent data analysis from Way.com, published on data journalism site Stacker , found that those flying into Newark Liberty International Airport this month are more likely to face delays than those traveling to any other airport in the country.

Researchers analyzed the U.S. Department of Transportation’s November 2024 on-time arrival data to see which airports experienced the most delays this time last year, using those numbers as a barometer for what travelers can expect this year.
