NASSAU, BAHAMAS — The shoulder injury that has sidelined Purdue University forward Liam Murphy will likely keep him out of action the next few weeks, according to a report in the IndyStar.
That’s the bad news.
The good news is, although he suffered an injury to his shooting shoulder (not the surgically repaired left shoulder) in practice last Saturday, the MRI didn’t reveal anything specific that could have ended his season.
“(We’re) very fortunate. For an injury, it was good news,’' Purdue head coach Matt Painter told the IndyStar in a video report Wednesday.
