TIFFIN — Four people are dead following what police have described as an apparent murder-suicide.
Just before 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, police responded to a residence in the 100 block of Huss Street following a report of gunshots and sounds of screaming. Officers found four people inside the home — a man and two boys with gunshot wounds, and a woman who was physically uninjured but “clearly in state of shock, overwhelmed, and visibly traumatized,” police said.
The man and one of the boys was pronounced dead at the scene while the second child and the mother were taken to Mercy Health Tiffin Hospital, where the boy later died.
Outside the home, officers found another man dead from what they believe to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound. The names and ages of the victims were being withheld pe
