TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – Scattered showers and thundershowers overnight will continue for this morning. Might make for some sloppy commutes. No statements at first light today, but a First Alert Weather Day is in place. Some afternoon clearing but cold, highs will miss 60 in most spots.
Cold tonight with a Freeze warning for the valleys of Cochise, Santa Cruz and Pima counties, and up north to Graham and Greenlee counties. Temps tonight might slide down to the mid 20’s in some spots, compliments of dry and cold air.
A new system over the weekend, with rain and mountain snows again. The rain however, looks to arrive a little later on Saturday making for a late day rain affair into the overnight. Great timing.
Some gradual warming next week, but still below our averages early week.
