Actor Mammootty, who is gearing up for the release of ‘Kaalankaval’ this November, is reportedly set to collaborate with legendary filmmaker Adoor Gopalakrishnan for a new film, which is said to be an adaptation of Thakazhi Sivasankara Pillai’s acclaimed novel ‘Randidangazhi’.
According to a Cinema Express report, the buzz around this project intensified after the actor, who was in Thiruvananthapuram for an official event, met Adoor Gopalakrishnan in person to discuss and reportedly confirm the collaboration. The film is also said to be produced under Mammootty’s home banner, Mammootty Kampany. However, an official confirmation is still awaited.
