A major accident was averted at Hyderabad’s Kachiguda Railway Station when a passenger tried to get down from a moving train, lost balance, and slipped dangerously close to the tracks. Reacting within seconds, RPF Constable Pankaj Kumar Sharma rushed forward and pulled the passenger away from the edge, preventing a potential tragedy.

Sharma’s quick reflexes and timely intervention saved the passenger’s life. Fellow passengers and railway officials praised his alertness, bravery, and commitment to duty.

A similar incident occurred last month in Tamil Nadu, where a woman at Erode Junction slipped while attempting to board the Chennai-bound Yercaud Express. RPF Head Constable Jagadeesan immediately grabbed her hand and pulled her to safety, averting another major mishap.
