Sophie Alice Brown will become a bat mitzvah Saturday morning, Nov. 22, at B’nai Jeshurun Congregation. She is the daughter of Meryl and Benjamin Brown of Pepper Pike, and the sister of Max and Nora. Sophie is the granddaughter of Michelle Tukel and Jay Brown, and Sylvia and Roger Kramer, and the great-granddaughter of Gail Turkel, and Lenore and Jack Brown. For her mitzvah project, Sophie is supporting the Cleveland Kosher Food Pantry.
