Lorraine Kelly provided a one-word response after Piers Morgan made a ‘savage’ jab about the ITV cuts on live TV. It was an eventful morning for Piers, who also had to apologise after swearing on This Morning.

Earlier in the year ITV, shared their plans to revamp both Lorraine and panel show Loose Women as part of new cost-saving measures. From 2026, Lorraine's long-running morning programme will be reduced to a 30-minute slot, airing from 9.30am to 10am instead of its current hour-long format.

Good Morning Britain will run for an additional 30 minutes from January, cutting into Lorraine’s normal 9am start time. Scottish presenter Lorraine joined ITV back in 1984, going on to host Good Morning Britain , GMTV, This Morning as well as her own self-titled programme.
