Jaipur: Panic spread through Jaipur’s high-security Civil Lines area after a leopard was spotted moving through several residential compounds, including a school and the official bungalow of a Rajasthan cabinet minister, officials said.
Chief Wildlife Warden Shikha Mehra confirmed that the forest department tranquilised and rescued the animal after several hours of effort, adding that no injuries were reported.
The leopard was first seen entering the Tiny Blossom Senior Secondary School before it reportedly moved into the official residence of Water Resources Minister Suresh Singh Rawat, located opposite the home of Congress leader Sachin Pilot.
