A Virginia neighborhood was shaken after a 79-year-old woman was found stabbed to death inside her home in what Fairfax County Police say was not a random attack.
Officers responded at around 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 18, to the 2300 block of Dulles Station Boulevard in McNair, after a caretaker arrived and found her patient unresponsive, police said.
Detectives said they found 79-year-old Herndon resident Norma Little with stab wounds to her upper body. She was declared dead at the scene.
Detectives from the Major Crimes Bureau said they are interviewing witnesses, collecting video, and processing evidence. Investigators said the stabbing “is not suspected to be a random act.”
Police are asking anyone with information to call the Major Crimes Bureau.
