A Kittanning man is charged with sexually assaulting two young girls between 2020 and summer 2025 in Armstrong County.

John Neal Toy Sr., 64, is accused of sexually assaulting the two girls when they were 8 and 9 years old at a residence in Manor Township and at his residence in East Franklin Township.

One girl, now 13, who reported being assaulted in 2020, said she did not come forward sooner because she was afraid. She told investigators Toy had not assaulted her in the last two years, but she came forward because she was worried the same thing may happen to the 8-year-old girl.

The 8-year-old girl told her parents on Oct. 14 that Toy had been doing the same to her over the last two to three years with the most recent incident happening in summer 2025.
