A northern Michigan couple with six children have had their parental rights terminated and now face felony child abuse charges in Wexford County, the Michigan Attorney General said this week.
Jason Klimp, 47, and Jessica Klimp, 45, parents of two adopted children and four biological children, were arraigned on two counts each of first-degree child abuse and two counts of first-degree child abuse committed in the presence of another child — both potential life-sentence offenses, the Attorney General's Office said in a Nov. 19 press release.
