The Sioux Falls School District will keep Renberg Elementary School open for the remainder of this school year, and for the 2026-2027 school year, too.

That news likely came as a relief to the more than a dozen Renberg supporters who attended the school board’s Nov. 19 work session, including five who appealed publicly to board members and district administrators to keep their school open.
