LORAIN COUNTY, Ohio (WOIO) - An Elyria man who attacked a police officer and two sheriff’s deputies during a sentencing hearing for a previous assault was sentenced to 39-44 years in prison for the courtroom brawl.

On June 12, 41-year-old Andrew Davison was found guilty and sentenced to 15 to 20 years in prison for attempted murder after stabbing a man in the face.

In a video of the Lorain County courtroom, Davison can be seen starting to walk out of the room.

Lorain County Sheriff Jack Hall also told 19 News, Davison said, “I’m not going back to prison again, you’re going to have to kill me,” before the fight
