The Saskatchewan RCMP have issued a crime watch advisory regarding a mule deer shot and left to waste near Coronach. On Wednesday, November 19, the buck was reported to Assiniboia Conservation Officers after being found approximately two miles north of Coronach.
It appears the deer was shot and dragged a short distance to a row of trees before being left to waste. Officers believe the deer was shot sometime on Monday or Tuesday.
The RCMP are asking the public to report any suspicious activity, vehicles, or individuals in the area during this time. All information related to this matter should be reported to a local conservation officer or the Saskatchewan Turn In Poachers & Polluters line at 1-800-667-7561.
