The odds are in Hunger Games fans’ favor.
After all, Lionsgate dropped a surprise teaser trailer for Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping —the franchise’s next installment that tells the backstory of Haymitch Abernathy—on Nov. 20, exactly one year before the film will hit theaters.
The trailer opens to the annual reaping ceremony held throughout Panem, with Drusilla Sickle (played by Glenn Close , fake teeth and facial prosthetics leaving her unrecognizable) announcing District 12 will need to supply double the amount of tributes in honor of the second Quarter Quell.
“Twice the tributes,” Drusilla says into the microphone, to a stony-faced crowd. “Twice the glory.”
