Two Babbar Khalsa-linked terrorists were shot at by security forces in an encounter in Punjab’s Ludhiana.

The police commissioner said that the two suspects were assigned with collecting hand grenades and throwing them at designated locations. Police also recovered hand grenades, some pistols, and ammunition from the scene.

According to news agency IANS, Police Commissioner Swapan Sharma said, “Two criminals were trapped as they were allegedly planning to hand over the grenades to another party. During the operation, five module pistols and two Chinese grenades were recovered. Details regarding the suspects’ identities and the specific incident they were planning would be disclosed later, as the investigation is ongoing.”
