We have issued a Weather Impact Alert for Thursday. This is due to the forecasted chance for off and on thunderstorms that'll be moving through the Central Texas region all day. Small hail, gusty winds and heavy rainfall is likely. The main concern for our region is the accumulating rainfall, which could lead to flooding.

Gov. Abbott has activated state emergency response resources ahead of the storms, with rescue and safety teams deployed across the state.
