Honolulu firefighters extinguished a Manoa house fire that displaced a 75-year-old woman early this morning.
At 3:25 a.m., the Honolulu Fire Department received a 911 call reporting an odor of smoke on Koaniani Way. The event was upgraded to a building fire, according to an HFD news release.
HFD dispatched 10 units staffed with 38 personnel with the first unit arriving at 3:28 a.m. to find a a two-story home on fire with heavy black smoke coming from the structure.
Firefighters brought the blaze under control at 3:56 a.m. and extinguished it at 4:12 a.m., HFD officials said.
