A woman in the United States’ Connecticut allegedly supplied caffeine to an 11-year-old boy in an attempt to sexually assault him late at night. The woman, identified as Alyson Cranick, allegedly sent text messages to the boy on Snapchat and Discord to coerce the young boy to engage in sexually explicit activities with her.

The 44-year-old woman further confessed to the police that she lured the boy by offering him to buy Apple AirPods and a gun that fired plastic pellets, convinced him to sneak out of his home, gave him caffeinated drinks to keep him awake, and sexually exploited him, as reported by the news publication Daily Mail.

The police also noted that Cranick drove the boy to several locations and abused him in her car on at least 14 occasions.
