Orlando International Airport (MCO) is preparing for a major transportation overhaul that will significantly impact how passengers move between terminals and their gates — and the changes begin in just days.

Starting Dec. 7, the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority (GOAA) will launch the first phase of its Gate Link Replacement Project, a $253 million modernization effort to replace the airport’s aging tram system that carries passengers between Terminals A and B and Gates 70-129 on Airside 2 and Airside 4.
