GRAND RAPIDS, MI – The preseason dream for each of Michigan’s high school football teams is a state championship, and now Ford Field is only one win away for the squads fortunate enough to still be playing.

Four Grand Rapids-area teams will take the field in Saturday’s state semifinals in four different divisions: East Kentwood in D1, Lowell in D3, Unity Christian in D4 and West Catholic in D5.

At this point in the season, predicting games is as easy as covering an all-state wide receiver without safety help, but I’m putting my swami skills to the test with another set of Grand Rapids-area football predictions.
