RUSTON, La. (KNOE) - Ruston Mayor Ronny Walker ordered all U.S. and Louisiana flags at municipal buildings and grounds to be flown at half-staff in honor of Fire Chief Christopher Womack.

The city announced Womack’s death on Nov. 19. Walker said flags should be flown at half-staff effective immediately on Nov. 20, and flags are to remain at half-staff until sunset on Sunday, Nov. 23.

Womack’s funeral will be at Temple Baptist Church, 1515 South Service Road West, on Nov. 22 at 10 a.m. The visitation will be on Nov. 21 at Temple Baptist Church from 5-8 p.m.
