WARREN COUNTY — Amazon plans to invest $3 billion to build a new data center campus in Warren County, Gov. Tate Reeves announced Wednesday, marking the largest economic development project in the county’s history.

The investment is expected to create at least 200 high-paying full-time jobs and support more than 300 additional positions in the region. Construction on the Vicksburg-area complex is expected to begin in 2026.

The project expands Amazon’s growing presence in Mississippi. In January 2024, the company committed $10 billion and 1,000 direct jobs for data center campuses in Madison County, generating thousands of indirect jobs in construction, supply chain operations and related services.
