An Alabaster man has been convicted of multiple sex offenses against a minor after being found in a 12-year-old girl's bed in Tennessee and then threatening to kill her family upon being discovered by the child's mother.
Omar Malik Lundy, 30, is now facing up to 37 years in prison after being found guilty by a jury of attempted rape of a child, assault, two counts of aggravated assault, and solicitation of a minor to commit rape of a child.
According to authorities, evidence in the trial showed that Lundy had posed as a 15-year-old boy and initiated contact with the victim through YouTube by posting a "flattering comment" on one of her videos.
