Pitt County woman charged with stabbing man in his back

PITT COUNTY, N.C. (WITN) - A Pitt County woman is in jail without bond after deputies say she stabbed a man.

Deputies were called around 6:00 p.m. Saturday to a home on Anderson Road outside of Greenville for the report of a stabbing.

No one was found at the crime scene, but later the 36-year-old victim from Farmville was located in another location.

Latoria Taylor surrendered to deputies on Wednesday. The 44-year-old, who lived at the home on Anderson Road, was charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injuries.

Taylor is due to go before a judge later today.
