Jury selection continues Wednesday in the murder trial of Brian Walshe , the Cohasset man who allegedly killed and dismembered his wife in their home in 2023.

Walshe, 50, had initially been charged with murder, willfully conveying a human body, and misleading a police investigation in the death of Ana Walshe , 39.

But just before jury selection began Tuesday, Walshe pleaded guilty to the lesser two charges, meaning he’ll only stand trial on the murder count once a full panel of 12 jurors and four alternates is selected.

On Tuesday, nine jurors were seated for the high-profile case, WBZ-TV reported .

Prosecutors allege that Walshe killed his wife in the predawn hours of Jan. 1, 2023, and then cut up her body, leaving her remains in dumpsters in various locations, including
