Budgam, Nov 20: The Budgam district administration is set to close all entry and exit points leading to the under-construction Ring Road for public and commercial vehicular movement, allowing only vehicles directly engaged in construction activities.

The decision comes after a tragic accident on the Waterwani–Mahawara road a few days ago, in which four people lost their lives and six others sustained injuries.

Officials said that only those access points deemed essential for public convenience will remain open along the project route. A detailed list specifying which entry points will stay open or closed is expected to be announced soon to ensure clarity and avoid inconvenience to commuters.
