Jammu, Nov 20: Union Minister Dr Jitendra Singh on Thursday praised the Indian Army’s exceptional role during wartime and highlighted its significant contributions to humanity during peacetime.
Speaking during his visit to the Army Command Hospital Udhampur in the Jammu region, the minister commended the Army for organising the first-of-its-kind, state-of-the-art, three-day Mega Cataract Camp, part of the ongoing Operation Drishti.
“While the Army’s role in wartime is exceptional, its contributions to humanity during peacetime are equally commendable,” Dr Singh said.
During his visit, the minister conducted a comprehensive review of the medical services and facilities provided at the hospital. He said the Armed Forces not only protect the nation but also play a vital role
