A man convicted of exposing himself and committing lewd acts in front of female students at UC San Diego and San Diego State University has been sentenced to three years in county jail.
Adrian Haywood, 33, dubbed the "SDSU Gooner" in online circles, was found guilty for a string of sexually explicit incidents at university campuses, plus "a workplace incident involving a female colleague," according to the San Diego City Attorney's Office.
" 'Gooning' is a state into which one gets when one is highly aroused," according to the Urban Dictionary, which also said it is typically used in reference to male behavior.
Haywood was convicted last month of six counts of indecent exposure, lewd conduct and sexual battery. He was sentenced to six months in jail on each count, to be served consecuti
