Reality television star Porsha Williams is making headlines after an alleged altercation with another passenger on a recent Delta Air Lines flight.

The incident occurred on a flight from Las Vegas to Atlanta, where "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" cast member attended BravoCon on Sunday, Nov. 16. BravoCon is an annual event featuring panels, activations and meet-and-greets with fan favorites from Bravo's reality shows.

According to a news release from the Atlanta Police Department, an officer at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport responded to the report just after 9 p.m. ET.

"Preliminary investigation indicated that both parties may have been involved in a verbal dispute that reportedly escalated into a physical dispute," police said.

Police did not say if either of the women were arrested, detained or if any charges had been filed.

Speaking to People, Williams' lawyer Joe Habachy said his client left the plane after she was "verbally assaulted by an irate and unhinged passenger without provocation."

USA TODAY reached out to Habachy for comment on Nov. 20, but has not received an immediate response.

Police body camera shows interviews with Williams, other passenger

Body camera footage obtained by USA TODAY shows Williams being interviewed by the responding officer. Before takeoff, she said she was scrolling on Instagram when the woman sitting next to her in first class had an issue with her phone volume.

"She turned to me out of nowhere and she said, 'So you're going to make me listen to that the whole flight?'" Williams explained. The reality star said the woman called her a slur and insinuated that she hit her.

During the interview, two witnesses told police that Williams did not make physical contact with the other passenger. Williams later continued telling the responding officer about the incident, stating that she wanted to be separated from the woman.

At one point, Williams said, the woman "dropped her phone on the floor and she was like... 'You just hit me in my face. I'm pressing charges.'" The woman eventually moved to another seat, but Williams claimed the woman had to be restrained.

In a separate interview, the woman told the responding officer that Williams "assaulted" her and mentioned that she is "afraid for her life." The woman said William's volume was loud for nearly 30 minutes, which prompted her to say something.

"Next thing I know, there was a fingernail so close to my eye that I thought I was going to be physically attacked. She had her hands in my face, screaming, calling me crazy," the woman said, adding that when she tried to record the interaction on her phone, Williams slapped it out of her hand.

Williams' attorney says the woman made 'false allegations'

Williams' lawyer, Habachy, told People that the woman made "false allegations that were in direct conflict with observations from several eyewitnesses."

"As with any incident occurring aboard an aircraft, federal authorities are required to conduct an investigation involving all parties to determine what, if any, offenses occurred," Habachy said to the outlet, adding that his client is cooperating with authorities.

According to Atlanta police, the statements from both parties were given to the FBI.
