Haryana’s health authorities have intensified their campaign to correct the state’s skewed sex ratio, which fell to 910 girls per 1,000 boys in 2024—the lowest in eight years. Early signs suggest progress: by November 17, the sex ratio at birth had improved to 913, compared to 904 during the same period last year.

Rajpal said the state home secretary will be requested through a letter to allow PNDT cases to be taken
