Hundreds of people have been rushed out of the venue for the COP30 climate summit due to a massive fire.
The blaze broke out at a pavilion inside the venue, which is the site of a former airport, in Belem, Brazil.
The incident occurred on the penultimate day of this year's United Nations climate conference which began on November 10 and will come to a close on Friday, local time.
It is not yet known what caused the fire.
Emergency crews acted quickly to control the fire, which was seen to be growing in size in videos posted to social media.
Smoke also quickly filled the room as attendees frantically made their way to safety.
Security staff told Reuters the fire began in the area where nations and organisations have their public-facing stands, known as pavilions at the event.
