ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - Three men were arrested Wednesday and accused of armed robbery in North St. Louis city.
Reuel Clower, 43, Michael Upchurch, 41, and Carlos Nelson, 23 are facing one count of robbery and one count of brandishing a gun in furtherance of a crime of violence. Clower and Upchurch were indicted on one count of being a felon in possession of a gun.
The incident occurred on September 24, in the 600 block of Kingshighway Boulevard. Police say the three attempted to rob a fast food restaurant. They allegedly searched the employees for items and forced them to get on the ground before stealing money from the register.
All three have been arrested and in custody since November 5, according to police.
