An out of control dog attacked a woman and her dog before jumping at a child in a pushchair on Wednesday afternoon. Police were called to Ty Fry Close, Blaenavon, at around 3pm after reports of a woman being bitten by a dog.

The Jack Russell attacked another dog, then attacked that dogs owner, before jumping at a child in a pram and the child's father. The dog's owner was spoken to by officers and subsequently was issued with a requirement to attend a responsible dog ownership course.
