DULUTH, Minn. (Northern News Now) - Northern News Now has recently gathered information that Community Action Duluth (CAD) will be holding a news conference later this week.
According to a CAD employee, who wished to remain anonymous, the news conference will be held by CAD on Thursday, Nov. 20 at 5 p.m. outside of the organization’s building.
According to AFSCME, their workers at CAD will speak publicly about issues within the organization. They listed issues such as hostile working conditions, financial mismanagement, newly-filed Unfair Labor Practice (ULP) against management, and the ongoing refusal by management to address workers’ concerns.
The news conference is likely to have staff voicing their concerns regarding the lack of communication from upper management.
